Need Help - H1 COS or Consular Processing

Hi All,

I am working on L1 in USA and have I-94 till Jan 2016. Two companies are applying H1 for me and they both are doing L1 to H1B Change of status. I have few questions and need your help with these. Not sure if they were answered already but I could not find in my search.

#1 Can we apply for H1B Change of status from two different companies? Would there be a problem or complications if USCIS finds out that two companies applied H1b (change of status) for me?
#2 What would happen if both H1B applications are selected in Lottery? would I have the option to select one company over other?

1. Yes.
2. The last one approved would be the effective one.

Also, you have to understand that post COS to H1 you must work and get paid with H1 employer, any employment with L1 company is illegal after COS to H1 date.
