H4 Child I-94 extension procedure after reissue of Passport

Hi,

My 7 yrs old kid is on H4 his passport is getting expired on June 2015. I Switched job from Employer A to Employer B end of last year, during that time my Employer applied for extension of their (spouse and kid) status also and got the I-94 extended for 3 yrs. After that my spouse and kid went to India returned back to US on this Feb, at the POE they have given the I-94 till the Passport expiry date.

Question :

1. After my kid's passport is reissued what is the procedure to get his I-94 extended?
2. Does the I-94 came with I-797A (Petition for Extension of Status approval) is still valid?

1. Use form I539.
2. No. That I-94 should have been handed over at Exit point while they left US in Feb.
