Hi,
I'm on H-1B visa.
I recently changed jobs and started working for the new company after recieving the receipt notice from USCIS.
Last week, the lawyer who filed my petition informed me that my case had been approved. Unfortunately, the I-797 has been lost in mail (from the lawyer to me) and the lawyer is working getting a replacement copy/refiling the petition.
If I leave for Mexico (3-day cruise) and then enter US, can I show my old employers I-797 (since I dont have the latest one)? Is it ok/safe to do so?
Thanks.
