Hello,
I an currently working with and EAD and OPT. I will be soon applying for H1B soon as a social worker and I have a couple of questions:
1. After the H1B is approved, is there any point in time in which myself or the employer may be required to show a W-2 to prove that the employer has been paying the predetermined salary?
2. I am currently holding 2 positions with the company with my OPT - full time social worker (W-2) and in-home visits which are done as a contractor (1099-MISC). Would I be able to keep doing that after my status changes to H1B, or would it be illegal to continue any 1099-MISC work?
