Hi,
I have a H1B-X visa that was approved in 2012 but not yet stamped. Since 2012, I am in India and had quit the company that originally applied my H1B-X visa. My questions are:
1. Would the H1B-X still be valid?
2. Is it possible for my new company to transfer this existing H1B-X visa on theirs? In this case, would this again be considered as Extension or as a new H1B visa valid for 6 years?
3. If my new company applies B1 Business visa, would there by any issue as there is already an unstamped H1B-X on my name (from previous employer)??
4. How do I obtain a copy of H1B-X visa approval receipt (I-797)?
Please clarify.
