Travel with valid visa but I-94 extension pending?

Hi all,

I am on H1B visa which expires in Sep 2015 . I am applying for extension for my visa and for my wife's visa who is on h4 visa.

My wife needs to travel to india in June 2015 and return by July of July 2015.

Will there be any issues we may face in her return back to US in July - in terms of I-94 and also traveling while petition is pending with USICS ?

If you/they are planning to re enter before Sep 2015 and have no plans of going for fresh visa stamping then I would advise you file extension after returning back.
