Hi,
I actually have a J-2 and I just learnt I will receive a H1-B in October.
The problem is that I will travel in Europe from end of August to beginning of September and at the end of September.
My lawyer told me that the agent at the border can refuse to let me enter the country because the date are too close (end of September - October 1st). (And I was planning to get the new stamp on the Christmas Holidays.)
Is it true? has someone been in the same situation? Is there a way of letting know the immigration my travel details, so they let me in at the end of September?
