Attending Visa Interview without i129 hard copy.

Hi,

Recently, my wife got her H1B Amendment approved and we are waiting for the hard copy of the approval (i129). She is attending visa interview in Chennai in next 2 days and wanted to know how to handle the situation of not having hard copy of the approval?

Is it ok to present the receipt notice, email confirmation and the website reference of the case approval, in case asked for the same.

I believe she should reschedule the interview till she receives her I797.

I129 approval results in I797 Approval notice which is a mandatory document while attending H1. In fact if its a straight forward case I797 and questions associated with it is all the officer looks for while deciding the Visa outcome.
