Have approved H1B but currently on H4.

I worked for Company A (Indian IT firm) on H1B for 1.5 years and have an approved H1B petition. But recently I resigned from my job (Company A) and applied for a COS to H4 along with EAD since my spouse has already an approved i140. But due to lengthy processing times these days, I might have to wait for 5-6 months to get an EAD card. In the meantime, I am planning to search for employers who can sponsor my H1B which Company A sponsored earlier. I have few of the questions as below:
--Can anyone please share the list of companies/ employers in Greater Seattle area who can sponsor my H1B?
--Does this need to be a fresh H1 petition? Or will the process be similar to H1 transfer?
--In case I get a new employer, can that employer file another COS from H4 to H1B?

I am looking for help. Kindly post your thoughts or any pointers you have. Thanks.

H1B in pending status (Case received with receipt number) but employer termination!

    Hi

I am on OPT status till sept 1 2016 and my employer filed for my H1B this April and it has been picked. My SEVIS status now says H1B pending, but my employer terminated me yesterday. What will be my options now?
    1. Should I request the ex employer to withdraw the petition and find another employer who is willing to file for my STEM extension ? If this is the case, how much processing time does USCIS take to withdraw the application?

    2. In case my H1B is in approved status, will I still be eligible for OPT STEM?

    Please please advise!

    Multiple Petitions get picked up

    hi,

I have applied two H1Bs through different employers and both of them are picked in lottery.
    1) Do I need to withdraw one petition? If Yes, when should I do it?
    2) Will it create any problems if I don't withdraw either of the applications as I am still waiting for final approval on either one.
    3) What should I do if both are finally approved?

    Please clarify.

    Thanks,
    Satish

    Any suggestion?

If you are going to work in US, it will be on H1B visa. Individuals cannot apply for H1B visa on their own. Sponsoring company has to file petition to USCIS department on behalf of candidate and should show to USCIS you are eligible for the particular post selected for. Make sure the company you are joining is genuine. Check the background about the company, can they afford the expenses and take care of you. Other option is, you can once enquire with the consultancy, check are they ready to apply on behalf of the company you have been selected.

you i believe you can have your petition processed from india by company C, its a amendment petition. just ensure the current petition is valid for atleast 6 more months.

    Need a sponsor

    Hi,

I am currently in the US on L1 visa. I am going back to India soon.

I am having 16+ years of IT experience. A very strong experience on Oracle Apps EBS. Also have knowledge on SOA.

A consultant is ready to sponsor H1B. But he expressed his inability to arrange for a cleint letter. I am skeptical about my chances at visa stemping without client letter.

I need a consultant who can sponsor me. Or somebody who can arrange a client letter for me.

    can anyone help ?

It’s better to consult an immigration attorney in the USA for correct advise, accordingly you can plan your travel and further application.
