Leasing apartment in another city

Hi

Let's say I live and work in city A in the US on weekdays and am not actually paying rent or on a lease (I live in a friends place that owns a house). The address I submitted to the uscis on the ar-11 is this address.

I am planning on leasing an apartment in city B so I can spend weekends there, and my name will be in the lease.

I'm currently on h1b and am applying for a green card through work.

Does it matter that I am on a lease in a city that I do not work in but live and work in a city that I do not pay rent or am on a lease?

Your AR-11 needs to specify your home address.

Your home address is the place you hold out to others as your home.

It is where you keep most of the clothes you wear in a week.

It is where you receive your bank statements.

Your weekend home, vacation home, dacha, "country home", and hunting cabins are not your home for the purpose of AR-11.
