H1B extension with another employer using I-140 processed by current employer

I am currently on L1 visa. I have an approved I-140 and around 10 days remaining on my H1B (I-797 expired in Dec 2013). Can another employer file for extension of my H1B based on approved I-140 (which was processed with my current employer)
