h1b visa from UK help

HI.
I have a questions about my fiance from Poland. He studying at the university - software engineering in UK ( 1 year foundation degree course and 3 years bachelor degree).
I read about h1b visa- must be equivalent 4 years bachelor degree in us.
My question is Foundation degree course is equivalent to 1 year study in us? I mean his 1 year foundation degree and 3 years bachelor degree is enough for h1b visa? Regards Sandra

His education need to be equivalent to a U.S bachelors degree. He can try and get his foreign education evaluated by an accredited education institution to determine whether his degree is equivalent to the U.S bachelors degree.
