H1 Transfer H4 extension

Hi,

I have recently transferred my H1 and got approval till May-2018, my wife has valid H4(I94) till 2017.
Do I still need to apply for H4 extension with my approval notice?

We are planning for India trip in November, can we directly go for stamping with out filing her H4 extension?

There is no such thing has H4 transfer. H4 is not associated to any of your employers. It is associated to your H1B status. Just because you changed employer, there is no need to file H4 extension. H4 extension should be filed only when the current I-94 associated with the H4 is about to expire (6 months prior).
