I had applied for my H1 visa on June 27th
and received the approval on Oct 27th without an I-94. It came along with a denial letter stating clause 8CFR 248.3(g) for the denial of COS.,change of status. I was previously on H4 visa. I went to my home country on H4 visa from Sep 2nd till Oct 13th for unavoidable reasons. that is the duration of the processing of my change of status. The approval notice suggests to go to the home country consulate to do the change of status and get the visa stamped.
Now I am not sure whether i am authorised to work in US.
Can my payroll be generated based on the ITN Number
If not, what are the steps to be taken to be legally working in the
country. Can anything be done like filing again for the change of status while in US without going to my home country.
