Hi,
I got H1B Visa from Company A in Sept 2009; I got my visa stamped and in few months i had to go to India due to personal reasons. The H1B Visa was expired in September 2012. My H1B Visa was through a University (i was a Professor).
Now i want to apply for a new H1B Visa through Company B. Please help me with following questions:
- Am I under H1B Visa Cap OR my case is Cap Exempt?
- Can i recover the number of days i spend outside US when my H1B visa was still valid
