Canadian Child in India - Travelling to USA

Hi,

I am on H1B in USA. My 8 year old kid is canadian by birth. Holding Canadian passport with PIO card in India. Now I want to bring my kid to USA (with my indian wife).

Should I process H4 for him?

Because I want him asap to USA (Due to school dates), can my kid enter to USA with his canadian passport without visa and later process H4 for him?
