My wife transferred from H1 to H4 and hence she will need to appear for an interview. Mine is H1-B extension and so I am eligible for the drop-box facility.
We are both there in India only for 10 days and so if I send my original documents via drop-box, my wife can not schedule her interview (because she might need my original 797 and passport as well?) while my documents are in drop box.
The question is, does she need to carry my original documents (H1 797 and My Passport) while she appear for an interview? If yes, can I schedule an interview for myself (even though I am eligible for interview waiver)?
