  • H1b Ammendment

My employer filed an H1B ammendment for a change in work location and it was filed and I have aslo received receipt notice for the same on July 1st 2015. My processing center is California(CSC).

I have had my extension done in September 2014 and have valid visa till sep 2017 . I am planning to travel to India in November 2015 and i need to go for stamping.

    1) So should i have the ammended petetion to go for stamping or extension petition(that i got last year) is fine? From the website i heard the processing time as 2-3 months , so in that case expecting my case to be approved in october.

    2) Please suggest if it takes more than 3 months and if i need to file premium processing ?

    Thanks

It is advisable to go for visa stamping with the amended petition. It can take more than 3 months sometime. Lately it is taking more time for USCIS to process the cases.
