H4 Dependent Visa Help required

Hi All,

I have a question regarding dependent Visa.

I alone filled up for DS160 and atteneded the interview for H1B.
Now i would like to apply dependent Visa for my spouse.

I am still in India and would probably travel early next year.
Does this pose any questions to her that y both of us not applied at same time?
My employer said that the my petition documents will do and no extra documents are needed apart from my passport copy,marriage certificate and an album.Could someone confirm on this and also explain if there are any issues if she goes for an interview before i leave to US ?

I have got a couple of questions.

1. In my marriage certificate , after marriage name of my wife was changed to include my SurName instead of her father's surname.
But we did not do make any changes to her passport or any other ID's.She still users her Father's surname in all her proofs and passport.

Does this create any problem at the time of interview

2. I have read the documents required section for H4 Visa.
One of the supporting document needed was a letter from Employer that describes relationship with Principal applicant and purpose travel.
I am still in India and not traveled to US .Should i ask my employer to provide this ?
