Missed deadline for H1B RFE

Hi,

I desperately need an clear answer for the following situation.
I have a team member who got RFE on H1B this year. Our Company attorney sent mail on time to his manager cc'g the candidate himself.
But they both missed to check their mails on time and missed the deadline.

We sent the reply to USCIS 5 days late. What are the chances?
