H1 receipt number usage

Hi,

My employer had filed my H1B which got selected in the lottery. A RFE was issued. I also have my L1 extension filed. Seeing the attitude of the employer I think my employer will not file the RFE response. My question is will that receipt number be helpful for a new employer to get me a H1 approval may be next year.

Nope. Unless the H1B gets approved, you are not considered to be CAP counted. You need a copy of the approval notice to file a transfer.
