H1 and Visa Stamping Complicacy
I am currently holding H1-B and working for employer XX. My H1-B and visa was initially issued for first employer YY which has expired now and I am H1-extension.
I want to take an appointment for my visa stamping in India. The appointment process requires providing information of 797 form including current employer, petition #, validation dates, etc.
After taking the appointment using XX as employer, if I transfer my H1-B to employer ZZ, would the appointment be invalidated? If yes, then do I have get a new appointment or can I change the employer information in the current appointment. If no, can you please confirm if such cases have gone through valid? Are the any other complications involved in such case?
