Home Based Web Developer Petition to Work in US

I am a web developer / graphic designer (no degree -- experience only) working home based (online) for a client based in the US. I am working for him for more than a year now and he plans to build a web design office there so he would like me to come to the US to work for him in the office.

He also plans to have me work and go to school to get a degree in IT, if possible.

Which type of visa do you think my case will fit?

It would also be interesting to know that my girlfriend is a graphic designer and wants to come to me, but there may be problems with the visa

I had aspired to be a web developer but decided to go in a different way. I'm making a cartoon book and am particularly interested in clipart. If someone could provide their insight on this, I'd be very appreciative.

I guess after the pandemic the situation with attraction of IT specialists has changed for the better in the USA. As far as I see, there is a tendency of attracting qualified professionals in this sphere. Besides, new niches like migration to kubernetes appear because there are more applications that are being developed.
