I just wanted to post my time frame till I got my approval for H-1B. I read so many posts here and those helped me a lot. Hope it helps you figure out as well.

Visa Application delivered to USCIS
May 4, 2015
A receipt from H-1B Lottery emailed to the lawyer.
August 11, 2015
USCIS mailed an RFE (Request For Evidence) to the employer
October 7, 2015
An RFE package sent out to USCIS with Premium Service
October 8, 2015
An RFE package delivered to USCIS / Premium service clock started
October 19, 2015
USCIS changed the date of receiving to 19th from 8th, the Lawyer called and confirmed USCIS would give us result by 19th
October 22, 2015
In the morning, 8 AM USCIS approved my visa (I got both text message and email notifications)
