H1 Visa Validity

Hi

I had my H1B issued in Oct 2006 and I was there in US till June 2009. After that I have never entered US again. Is that visa of mine still valid as I have not got the extension done? Can I get it transferred now? Please let me know. Thank you in advance.

H1B CAP is valid only for 6 years. That CAP would have already expired. You need to apply a brand new H1B that is subjected to a new CAP.
