Find another H1B sponsor and give them a copy of your previous H1B approval notice. They will be able to file a new H1B petition using the old CAP. You don't need to go through quota again. -
Non-cap H1B
Hi,
I got selected in H1 lottery in the year of 2014 and received my first petition and got my passport stamped till 30 Sep, 2015.
Till date I have not travelled for a single time and also had changed my older employee.
So situation is:
1. Changed my employer
2. Never travelled in old petition
3. Old petition expired on 30 Sep, 2015
Question is,
What I need to apply for getting further petition / visa? Do I again need to go through lottery?
