H4 EAD renewal

Hi,

My wife was in H4 and she got EAD this year. My H1 visa is expiring in month of April 2016 and i have applied for extension through my company. My extension process is In-progress. My wife is currently working.

1. Can i apply for my wife EAD renewal with my receipt notice ?
2. Do i need to wait for my H1 extension approval ?
3. Whether my wife can work if there is any delay in EAD approval after april ?

Please do help. I cant find the details in USCIS

1. Yes you can.
2. Most probably they would raise an RFE asking for your H1 approval notice.
3. She cannot work with a pending EAD request, she should have a valid EAD card in order to work.

If in a hurry, advisable to upgrade h1 extension request to premium.
