H1B visa revoked 5 years ago.Need to go through Lottery System

Hi,
I worked in the US on H1B visa for one year only and now I am working with different employer in India and want to return in the US but the problem is that my previous employer(who filed H1B visa for me) revoked my H1B visa five years ago.So my concern is that
Does my current employer need to file H1B visa under Lottery System ?

What is the effective date of your previous petition? If that is before 6 years, then you cannot claim CAP exemption anymore. You need to go though a new CAP. If that is within the last 6 years, then you ar exempted from CAP.
