Hi,
I got recently married on 15th December,2015 and have scheduled a H4 Visa interview on the first week of Jan,16.
The Marriage Registration Certificate under Hindu Marriage Act, clearly specifies the following statement :
"If the document is needed for use in foreign countries or for acceptance by the foreign missions situated in India, authentication of the document by the designated authority,VIZ,The Ministry Of External Affairs,Govt. Of India is necessary."
Since,I don't have enough time,this particular authentication cannot be completed.
Is this criteria absolutely necessary to be fulfilled before the certificate can be produced as a proof of marriage for Visa approval ?
Could you please advice me what all documents are required if the marriage certificate is not presented as a proof of marriage.
