Hi,
I did my MS from US university. I am working with a Research company (Non-profitable, Exempt) since June 2004 on H1B visa. I got an offer from a Non-Exempt organization last week. I think i need to come under new quota to work for the employer. But, I guess the quota is full on Jan 18th 2006. The new quota application would start from April 2006.
My question is, If I apply for H1B transfer around April 2006 (or before april), can I start working for my new Employer before Oct 2006 OR I need to wait till Oct 2006 to start working. As I already have H1, Can a Petition from new company's lawyer to INS would help in this case.
