Travel from India to US after filing H1B Amendment cum extension

Hi All,

Please let me know if some one can help by responding to the below query.

I am currently in India. I have H1B Visa valid till 30th Aug 2016. Previously i was in US and came back after closing my assignment.

Now i have got another assignment in different location , so my employer has filled H1B Amendment cum extension in premium processing.

Please let me know if i can travel to US once the acknowledgement receipt is received considering my Visa is valid till 30th Aug 2016 currently?
Or
Do i need to wait till the approval and complete stamping to proceed my travel?
