On H1 visa married to canadian citizen-GC not started yet
Hi,
i am currently on H1 visa and the first term is valid till Jul 2017, and i am eligible to be on H1 visa till Aug 2019- I am a full time employee and my company said they can start my GC processing in first/second quarter 2017 as there are many ahead of me in wait list (i fall in EB2 category). I recently married my wife she is a canadian citizen and planning to bring her here.
we wanted to know what are our best options and how can we proceed from here on-Does canadian citizens have any benefit to apply for GC here on their own?
In middle of so much planning and not able to figure out what are our best options to proceed from here. For applying PR of Canada on my spouse basis it takes more than a year to get the PR.
If we plan her to bring here on TN visa then not sure if every employer can file it for us and on H4 she cannot work.
