  • Can two Non-Immigrants lawfully get married in USA?

    Hello There,
I'm on a H1B Visa while my Fiancee is on his F1, waiting for his OPT. We are planning to get married in USA but not sure if its lawfully valid. i read somewhere that the marriage needs to be registered in the home country and other conflicting information. can some one help?

    Appreciate your response.

Any two principals can marry in the U.S. if they meet age and identification requirements. Any advice or requirements you read about registering in one's home country has nothing to do with the U.S. marriage validity.
