Hello immi folks,
I decided to take up a new job offer and instructed my new employer to file for my H1B transfer. The legal/immigration team with my new employer claims to have filed an LCA on 3/3/16 which is still under process. They refuse to divulge the LCA case # as a matter of "company policy". Is anyone else experiencing unexpected delays in their LCAs.
Is there any way to track if an LCA was actually filed without the case #. Can I track it down using my designation, job location, employer name etc.
I am seriously reconsidering taking up the offer with the new employer. If the process of merely obtaining an LCA and transferring the H1B is taking this long, I am nervous how long my i140 process will take
