H1B but never travelled to US

Hi

I had US H1B visa got stamped in 2008,we expected a project during that time but unfortunately we didnot get the project and i never travelled to US & left the company and joined in a new company.
my new company has processed the B1 visa , but it got rejected and at the same time, they put a stamp on my US visa with "Cancelled without prejudice".

Later my new company has applied a new H1B petition & it got approved, now in DS160 form what i have to fill for this question "Has your U.S Visa ever been cancelled or revoked ?" (Yes or No).

Pl. let me know the answer and also this explaination "we expected a project during that time but unfortunately we didnot get the project " is good or bad.
