Dear all
My wife and I are going for visa interview next week in India.
I hold valid h1b and I am going for my h1b renewal. she is going for h1b to h4 conversion.
Will they question her on whether she maintained h1 status here,
since she is moving from h1b to h4.
Please let me know whether we need to carry all h1b docs of my wife for this move from h1b to h4. like all her h1b copy, w2,paystub.

I am confused. pls help.Kindly advice us atonce as the interview is next week in India.

Your wife need to carry all the docs mentioned by you. And try to give them a valid reason why she is converting from H1 to H4. And I think they will definitely check whether she maintained the h1 status in US through paystubs, exp. letter from previous employer, W2 etc.

Could you please let me know how the interview went. Did they ask about your wifes previous H1 status while here stay at US. Please share your experience as I am in the same situation. Thanks for your help.
