Stamping requirements after moving to a new employer

Hi, I am working on H1B visa for a consulting MNC. I got an offer from another local company. My change of employer is also approved and I have the new I797 with an extension up to 2019. My current visa is expiring in Aug 10 2016. Now, I am planning to visit India before joining the new company. I know that it is safe to get a fresh visa stamped before travelling. But since I have not yet reported to the new company and I do not have any payslips from there. Is there any risk in appearing for stamping for the new employer without latest payslips. What are the other important documents I should collect. Advice is greatly appreciated.
