My current stamping is valid till Dec 2016 on name of old employer, I am planning India trip this month, do I need a stamping for current employer for returning back? 8 months is left in my current stamping to expire(dec 2016)

No, You don't need to get your visa stamped with new employer. You may still travel with your current H1B Visa but you will have to show the I797 approval from new Employer on POE.

your stay is valid till the date mentioned in your I797 petition. If your stamping validity has expired before I797 date, then when you travel to india, you have to get the stamping. In your current case, you need not get stamping till after dec 2016.
