Hi,
My wife applied for H4 in Mumbai and got 221g requesting documents about her previous research, publications etc.( she worked on J1 for almost 3 years and got the waiver approved recently).She got an admission for PhD, I am wondering if she can apply for F1 visa while the 221g for H4 is pending. I am guessing that she might be issued 221g again, in that case which visa will be processed first. The passport was still with her and she has not submitted any documents in regards to her 221g. Could you please shower some light on this topic.
