Hi,
My H1B work permit is valid until 27-Jul-2016 and Visa is valid until 06-Aug-2016. Currently am in US.
It is seems there is 45 day limit to file for extension. For whatever reason my current company may not be able to meet the deadline and i might have to go back to India for this.
So am planning to change job to avoid going back to India.
Will the company change help in avoiding 45 day limit because H1 transfer will be filed instead of extension.
Does H1 transfer also present issues due the close duration to visa/workpermit expiry?
Please help urgently.
