Hello All,
I am currently in India and I have my H1b valid till Sep-15-2016. That is almost 2.5 months from now. My spouse do not have H4 till now and I want to apply H4 for her.
I am going to travel to US now and my company will apply extension of my H1b soon.
I would need a suggestion that when I can apply H4 for my spouse as my current I797 is going to expire in 2 months.
Should I wait until I get the extension or I can go ahead and apply H4 for spouse now.
Also need to consider the scheduling time availability in US consulate, which is more than a month from now.
