  • h1 to h4 visa - please help

    Hi everyone,

I am on h1 visa currently. now I want to transfer my visa to h4(I am in US rite now). Do I need to have my paystubs for the same? what are the documents I need to produce for the same.

    Thanks a lot in advance.

    Hi,
Its a simple process by filing form I 539. I think you don't need pay-stubs, but you will certainly have to produce all proof of your spouse maintaining H1B status.

      h1b transfer concern

Thanks a lot veena for replying !.
I have one more question. Here is the scenario. I came to US and joined company A and worked for 1 month(got those paystubs), then went to india for about 3 weeks and again came back. Then I was on a bench period for 4 weeks while my company was looking for a new work location for me. Finally I joined a new client.
      Now my questions are:

      1. If I want to shift to company B after a couple of months, will there be any problem because of the bench period.
      2. My husband is starting his and my GC process. Will it be a problem later if I am on bench for a month.

Please help me out with this situation.
      Thanks a lot in advance!
