Hi,
I am in Company A with H1B visa i140 cleared. My Wife is on F-1 Visa. I decided to join Company B, they started my Visa Transfer and even initiated my Wife F1 to H4 Visa change of status and applied EAD card for her.
In the mean while, when all of this processing was going through I decided to stay back in Company A. Visa application was already submitted I did had Receipt number for my wife Change of status to H4 and EAD card.
Last week we did received her EAD card, but I suppose i797 for change of status will go directly to Attorney of Company B.
My question is, as we will need i797 change of status approval notice from USCIS. So should I ask for the same from Attorney of Company B or should I reach out to USCIS to send me a duplicate copy. Please advise.
