I am starting a new thread here.
Me and spouse are both on H1b and have filled out individual Ds160s to attend visa interview at Mumbai consulate on 24th August 2016.But now due to some personal reasons, I want to come as a dependent (H4) on my spouse.
I have the following questions:
1. Do we have to file new Ds160 where my spouse mentions me as a dependent?
2. Can my spouse attend his H1b visa interview and I attend the H4 interview in the time slots that we had originally taken for our respective H1bs? Or we have to book a new appointment for the interview?
3. Do I have to take another date and time and pay other fees for scheduling interview?
4. I don't have spouses name mentioned on my passport, is it ok to still attend the interview?
