    H4 application for spouse

    Hi,


    I am on F1 Visa, Got my H1(i797) approved which will be activated on October 1,2016.
    My wife and children are outside of us(dont have have US visa). I want to apply h4 for them. Should they wait till October 1 or they can apply h4 before october?
