H1-B extension approved....Can I change job?

Hi,
My H1-B extension got approved for next 3 yrs but will start only after Sept 2016. Right now its only July 2016. Is it okay if I switch job and can I expect to transfer not just my current H1-B but also my H1-B extension for the next 3 yrs? I got a good opportunity that I don't want to miss.

Any ideas?

The three years has been approved only for current employer as per the documentation and support they submitted. This cannot be carried over to the next employer. The next employer has to file their own cap exempt petition and provide supporting evidences to request for a 3 Years H1.
