Safe period to file new H1B after getting laid off

I used to work in Company "A" which filed my H1B in 2015. It is valid until Sept 30th, 2018. On July, my Company "A" gave a notice that I will be laid off on Sept 30th 2016. It also sent a revoke letter to USCIS in July. Company "B" interviewed me and filed for H1B (Not premium) on Oct 3rd, 2016. What are the chances that visa filed by Company B will get approved?

Company A did not start any greencard process.

I haven't got the receipt for visa filed by Company B yet. I am really scared.

Typically if filed before your last working day with A chances are bright. As its filed a few days later its difficult to say. Advisable to upgrade to premium rather than waiting 3-6 Months to get a result.

I fully support a premium, why waste time and wait for a long time.
