  • How do I know what visa to go for and how can my wife work

    Hi All

I have two job offers in the US, one in MA where the employer is going to look after all the visa needs (HB1 visa) and the other is in AZ. I am leaning towards the AZ one but they are unsure of the process and I need to find out information.

Should I apply for a HB1 visa before trying to get a green card, and if I manage to attain the HB1 visa and my wife and kids get H4 visas what can I do for my wife to be able to work.

    Thanks in Advance

With the question should I apply for a H1B status before trying to get a green card, i believe this would be your only option unless you have another avenue to obtain a green card (family based, spouse etc) so first and foremost H1B would be the best option if this an avenue you wanted to pursue.

Applying for H1B status can be a simple process but refer to this page for more information on what steps your employer will take to apply https://www.immihelp.com/employer-bo...visa-petition/ . It is typically best for your employer to obtain a lawyer to assist with the filing process.

Select H4 visa holders are eligible to apply for EAD you can use the following link for more information on who qualifies http://www.immihelp.com/h4-visa-ead/
