Can I get my H1B stamped in another jurisdiction?

Hi,

Since there is a long waiting period in Mumbai for H1B stamping, can I get it done in kolkata?

As far as Iknow, unless USCIS has speicified a location for the visa to be issued, you can go to any embassy in the world you want.
