H4 stamping while amendment in progress

Hi All,

My H1 extesnion for a client was filed in March and later in September my family went to india.
In Oct i moved to a different location so an amendment was filed.

Now i have the receipt of march extension but amendment is in progress.

Can my family go for stamping on the basis of extension result or they have to wait till amendment is out?
